It's probably the best outside seating area of any cafe I have visited in the UK. Today was a quiet day as there was no que to get served. I started with a coffee and muffin. The muffin was fine, as was the coffee. The bill came to £5. I then spotted on the far side of the seating area an ice cream sign. It was another gorgeous day, so I thought I would treat myself. This changed once I walked over there as it was also a hotdog, burger, etc. stall. I don't normally eat hotdogs. However, I thought I would try something new and had a Wild Boar hotdog (£5). It was different, slightly spicy, and very meaty. The bun for me was a little too hard. I might be wrong, but to me, it wasn't as fresh or as soft as I would like. It might have been the type of bun. The main thing was that it didn't spoil the hotdog. It just would have been better with a soft bun, in my opinion. Before I left, I visited the bathroom, which was very clean and tidy. I also had a duck and ducklings waddle past me while drinking my coffee. First time I have had that experience at a cafe.

Nice tea room but can't walk round as it's more for fishing , than a walk. Shame really as we went on a really nice sunny day.. idyllic weather.

I loveeeee this place! Hidden gem! My little one year old loves an explore around the lake and feeding the fish / into the cafe to see the parrot. I love it too nice fresh coffee and cake £5 and love the paintings always on the glass and view. We’ve been to the Halloween light show and Easter egg hunt both of which were great! Staff went above and beyond and the lakes are decorated so beautifully it makes it fab for adults too! Can tell the amount of effort that is being put in as it is all just so easy and perfect! (: love the new addition of the ice cream hut!! Two of my little ones first proper clear words of ‘fish’ and ‘ice cream’ came from his experience here! Always pick up a little treat for the dog from the pupp hut too he’s fussy and loves their tasty treats!

Set in beautiful surroundings, Partridge Lakes Cafe is a real gem. We visited last weekend, as a group of 19 people to celebrate a family birthday. Although we had no idea how to fish, Partridge Lakes were able to offer us a fantastic package for the whole family. We hired their fishing equipment and had guidance, help and instructions from staff, throughout the day. They were absolutely fab with the children, who ranged from 1yr to 14yrs. They were so patient, encouraging and enthusiastic. Nothing was too much trouble, despite lots of visitors that day. Our package included food too - we were able to select anything from the menu - finding food options that everyone is happy with is often a struggle with 9 children, but not here. There were so many options and everyone really enjoyed their food. The portions were huge (which we loved) and all the food arrived as one order, really quickly, so we were able to enjoy eating together. The pager system meant that we could fish right up until lunch was ready. The staff were absolutely brilliant and really made our celebrations so special. They ensured we had our own area to sit and our own dedicated fishing area so that I didnt need to worry that any excitement from the children would disturb experienced fishermen. It's lovely to know that this is on our doorstep and that we can hire everything we need to be able to enjoy a day of fishing! We will definitely be coming back and hope that this will now become a family tradition. Thank you...

Went and got food from the cafe area, got a full English. The eggs were over cooked and the mushrooms could have been crispy but, the food was delicious, crispy hash brown. Tasty bacon which was nicely cooked and everything was red hot!! I still ate the eggs and mushrooms and gobbled the lot! The girl serving was lovely as well, dead friendly and polite. The place was clean and tidy and there was another food vendor too and the food there looked lovely. We say outside on the benches and there was a fishing match going on or it was just busy with people fishing. There's a tackle and bait shop there as well so if you like fishing I would 100% recommend this place. Food, drinks, toilets and nice ponds. There are a few ponds there as well not sure which ones you can/can't fish in, the one with the fountain I assume no fishing as there is loads of koi carp in it. There's free parking on site and from what I saw is wheelchair friendly too. Will be going back again for some grub and a...
