Pausa Cafe — Restaurant in England

There was a reasonable choice of hot and cold food and drinks. Prices are as expected in the current climate. We had 2 soft drinks 2 sandwiches 2 packets of Crisps and 1 cake for less than £15. Service slow for a Saturday lunchtime as they only had one lady serving, 1 making coffee and actively not serving in between coffees! 1 in kitchen heating up toasties etc and bringing to tables. Food OK, nothing to get excited about, sandwiches a bit plain/bland, cake quite nice (sicilia lemon cheese cake) . Lots of seating, all a bit close together but fine for purpose. What an awful dirty place. Visited Sunday 24/11/24 all the staff were concerned about was collecting and emptying the tips jar. There were 14 tables full of used plates & cups, the tables that had been cleared were dirty, stained and covered in mess and crumbs along with the chairs too. Never...

Not at all impressed with the staff serving. They should learn about customer service. I don't like being spoken to like I'm a piece of s*it on the sole of my shoe.. Guess they had that Monday morning feeling. Just hope it's on a Monday and not all week. Apart from that the carrot cake tasted...
