Periasta — Restaurant in England

Delivery was 1 hour 30 minutes, when I called to check on delivery she blamed me for the late delivery as I'd asked for crispy wings (which when they finally arrived) they were not even crispy anyway!! Had to call to send back, everything was squashed, the wings, extra hot & medium, had all fallen out of the bags and mixed in together, the hot sauce was all soaked into the garlic bread. The chicken all had the hot sauce on when meant to be half medium. I did receive the full refund I requested, they asked me to pack the food back up and they would collect it. Not good service, very rude manager, such a shame as our last order was good enough to order from them a second time. Sadly the last time!! My response to your reply: I did not rip any of the food up, thats simply a lie!! Most of the items were squashed, as if one if the children in your delivery drivers car had sat on them!! I had been emptying the food into bowls to serve to my family, thats why they were no longer in the packaging, before getting into the second bag which was all squashed and contained the wings which had all fallen out of the packaging and mixed all over the garlic bread, all soaked in chilli. I do not need to be asked not to order again as I never would. Your attitude was very rude. I accept all of the food was mixed in together on return as the packaging was not suitable to put everything back, but what were you going to do with it other than bin it. With covid you could not possibly have let anyone else have it!! And as for reselling it, well thats not acceptable...

Not impressed. You come to expect the long wait, but the wait AND getting the order all wrong? Toppings on the two sandwiches were all mixed up; no option for salt, vinegar, or sauce on chips; and ordered milkshakes, but they came as waffles.

Chicken was dry, but drowned in so much sauce that the bun was falling apart, and again, it was the wrong sauce, that I don't eat. Bean burger was alright, but again, wrong toppings.

Oreo waffle (ordered Oreo shake) was not good, and not made with Oreos, but instead chocolate digestive crumbles and white chocolate, which I don't eat. Kinder Bueno waffle (ordered the shake) was just okay.

Told delivery driver we ordered shakes, not waffles, but ended up keeping them instead of waiting indefinitely for the right shakes.

Not wasting our time bothering to give...

I used to order from Periasta all the time. I found the food to be good but quite pricey. I thought i'd give it another go until I came across the response to the review that the owner had left under this one I am writing. I have never read such a disgusting response to a customer. No matter what the customer did a business should never respond to someone is such a way, and a response to this effect only demonstrates unprofessionalism and a complete disregard for customer loyalty. Today you have not only lost my custom and any future custom i would have brought, but also that of any customers that read your google reviews and see what an evil person runs this business. I am sorry Kerry Gough whoever you are, for having got the response you did. Thank you for saving me from spending my hard earned money...
