Dont be put off by the bad reviews. So I travel to Warrington once a month and I'm always looking for a decent Halal place to eat. I'm a foodie so always on the hunt for somewhere I can call my top 5 places to eat in any town. I heard about Pixi's but to be honest the reviews online put me off because I didnt want to wait over an hour for food after a long days work. After a few recommendations from regulars I decided to head down and was amazed and all the meals on offer. I spoke to JJ (Pixi's son) who took the time to recommend suggestions based upon my preferences. I ordered the grilled chicken strips with homemade jerk sauce, jerk chicken wings, sweet potatoes fries and coleslaw. And because I had to try it, I also went for curry chicken, with rice a peas and chips. As I waited I chatted away to JJ, who although was flat out with online orders coming in every few mins made the time to make me feel welcomed. You can instantly tell that he has a passion for his brand and his brothers work tirelessly getting all the orders ready for delivery. I didnt have to wait too long and took the food back to the hotel. All I can say now is, the food is DEFINITELY worth the wait. All authentic, great flavours, all cooked properly with no raw meat or overcooked. It was so good I managed to finish it all in one sitting. That was probably the only negative thing about it, I over ate, but when food tastes that good you will finish it all. In conclusion, dont be put off by any of the negative reviews, good home cooked food isnt fast food McDonalds junk, so be patient and then "Refuel your body with healthy Jamaican food". I'm definitely going back next time I'm in town.

Although the staff were SOMEWHAT friendly, the food was poor. The oxtail was the only exception, however, a fifth of the container consisted of oil. Moving onto the ackee and saltfish. Firstly, the portion size was shocking. I received almost an empty container. And secondly, the sour, vinegar-like taste coupled with the jelly-like consistency was very off-putting. This dish was inedible and, therefore, was thrown away. Furthermore, the plantain was drenched in oil. I struggled to taste the actual plantain as the oil was far too overpowering. I am giving 2 stars and not 1 as the oxtail was appetising once salvaged from the oil. Unfortunately, the rest of the food went to waste. I have attached pictures to share my unpleasant experience. I am extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

Delivery time horrendously late and portion sizes tiny. Portion size for rice & peas and brown chicken stew was pathetically small, especially as I ordered the large meal.Delivery statues for my order was changed to delivered on the app 35 minutes before I received it and 50 minutes after the confirmed delivery time notification, Customer service appalling, tried to add an item to the order but this was to much trouble for the store staff, delivery driver turned up with an awful attitude blaming the restaurant and also refused to stamp my loyalty card.Horrendous experience. Also as the restaurant changed the status of my delivery to completed 35 minutes before I received it, I was unable to cancel my order.

This will be the last time I order from pixies. We have always loved the food and recommended the place to many of our friends. We know it's not the quickest to arrive and accept that. Tonight's food finally arrived 25 minutes after the latter of the 2 estimated times given at the time of order, but one of the dishes was not what was ordered so I called to let them know. Whilst I was on hold, while they checked what had gone wrong, we opened the corn cobs to find one was still chilled very cold as though it had just come out of the fridge or not defroted properly, whilst the other was only tepid. So when the person came back on the phone I told them that the corn on the cob was stone cold. They told me that they would be replacing the wrong meal so I asked what she would do about the corn on the cobs and was told they would not do anything, I was incredulous as i could not understand why they would not do anything about it but she literally did not care that food was delivered cold, stating well it was put on the grill before being packed so we can't understand why it would be cold. I suggested it must not have been on for long enough to heat it but she told she won't be doing anything about it, so I asked for a refund and for them to collect them when delivering our correct main meal, but I was told that they were not going to refund or replace them and she did not think that delivering Stine cold food was an issue, so I asked to speak to her manager. Her manager came on the phone sounding very much like the first person I had spoken with, whom as a soon as I has explained my complaint immediately told me that they wont be refunding or replacing the corn on the cob and her attitude was just absolutely disgusting.

Pixi you really need to have a word with the girl you had answering the phone the evening of 24th June and teach her some customer...

Hi I placed order at 19:13 with pixis caribbean, meal for the wife and me, a nice Friday night treat after a long week in work. 1 medium mango chicken curry, white rice 7 chicken wings fries coleslaw can of mango rubican and 1 Jamaica lemon cake. When the driver arrived at 21:07 he was polite handed me a square box and a small bag with the can off pop and 2 very small round plastic containers, as he walked away I called him back saying this is not correct. There was no cake and no curry and rice, not sure about coleslaw I didn't look in the box or the small plastic bag. After the driver looked in his empty bag, nothing else in there I asked him to take it back as it was incomplete a d been just short of 2hrs to get here, I understand it's Friday and busy no problem with that, the problem is 1 full meal and part of other missing, the drive r said he would ring the restaurant, but drove off after a few minutes, at this point I had been trying to ring pixies but line was busy for few minutes, when I did get to speak to someone they did after few minutes put me on to the manager (no name given) who asked did I want a refund as the time was ticking on the wife already had some toast on the go as didn't want to again for order to be re done. I have ordered in the past from pixies (uber eats and direct ordering) and not had a issue with any part of order. Now I have to wait 5 days for refund yet takes split second to come out my account when ordering, the nameless manager did offer to resend food out (wait even longer no thanks) the toast and jam was really nice by the way, and also said next time I order they would put in some freebies, which is great will I order again mmmm we'll see. Unhappy...
