3rd time going and the last, Hardly have food in, always no stock on most things we choose for meals, ordered on the app and was given a cup for the coffee, and a flat lemonade, both coffee machines not working and was told no delivery of milk yet but still gave us the cup for it. Went back the bar and said can I change it for a soft drink then and the female manager ( who has been very snotty on every occasion we have been here and is known for it) made me walk all the way back to the table to give her back the coffee cup (obviously in case I went the machine once it was working) oh as if! Just received our 2 meals and one is terrible see photo. Also on my mixed grill, the pork tasted of washing up liquid ! Everyone was complaining around us. And that woman needs to smile more and be nice to customers she's vile! Atrocious food and service Honest review! Will be telling everyone about it

A bit disappointing. I went to what was one of the best Wetherspoons in Warrington centre but it was one that had been sold, post Brexit. I walked half a mile to another and a big screen showing football was on at one end (not for me, thanks) so I got a coffee and went to the far side of the bar. The coffee (shown) was supposed to be a milky coffee, but was strong, black. The tables were strewn with menus and food debris and an open bottle of vinegar. I ordered food using the app. A glass of apple juice was plonked unceremoniously on the table, without so much as a grimace. It had ice which I had specifically requested to 'remove', as it affects my teeth. I shouted the waitress back but she ignored me. The food (jacket potato and tuna mayonnaise) arrived without the table being cleared or cleaned, and was generous in proportions, but the salad had seen better days.

Three stars because it's a Wetherspoon's and full of pro-Brexit propaganda, designed for the poorest and most gullible souls. Otherwise it is cheap of course and there are few alternatives in this bleakest of towns. Actually, I've downgraded it to two stars because it's in Warrington. If you have never been to Warrington, I recommend you keep it that way. Warrington is directly between Manchester and Liverpool, which meant that as a scrawny lad I was threatened with extreme violence by representatives from either city, sometimes both at the same time. Warrington has failed in any way whatsoever to regenerate, develop culturrally or be otherwise notable for anything. The only good thing about it is its access to motorways that go to places that are not Warrington.

Staff were pleasant when you ordered through the app, ID’d the whole group when we came in as we all looked under 25 which met the think 25 policy, but when I went to order at the bar I believe her name was Lydia (shift leader on 25/10/22) refused to serve me because she couldn’t except my ID as I looked to young even tho the ID was made 2 years ago and the only major change was my hair style aswell as already being served that day by a different bartender. she then asked for a bank card to prove it was me, I didn’t have a bank card on me but I could provide a digital copy of a bank statement aswell as my Apple Pay which had enough to tie me and my valid ID to the bank statement via the last 4 digits of my bank card aswell as being able to say when my ID was issued. she still refused and requested me to go home and come back with my bank card (which I wasn’t going to do as I lived 30 mins away) so she could serve me. Didn’t ask for my birthday, or to provide my signature. After I accepted I wasn’t going to be served due to the clearly power mad shift leader on this day and went back to my table one of my friends went to the bar to order the round I now couldn’t get ,excluding my drink, I was told by my friend that he heard them belittling me saying I looked about 7 on my ID and that they weren’t being fooled by such an authentic copy despite using the UV pen and checking the reflective printing. Never been refused drinks despite ‘looking about 7’ on my valid DVLA Driving license. If I had to change my ID photo everytime I had a hair cut I’d go bankrupt and be out on the streets, I suggest you take your job less seriously because your performance was humiliating and I took it personally as I was the only one who was refused service out of my entire group multiple, of which where served by the same woman without having their ID checked. 2 star as the drinks and...

Such a shame on the experience me and my mate had. We came to get a quick bite and something to drink, but the service we got disappointed us. We came in at 7pm on Thursday, my mate ordered the food on the app while i went sorting the parking of the car, we were in a bit of a rush as we had to go to a show that started at 8pm, so we were a bit last minute, but we had nearly an hour to get this food and go. My mates pint came to us 25 minutes after we placed the order, the bar was quiet, we noticed at most 3 people standing at it at one point so we were surprised it took so long for a bottle to be served table side.

Our food however took even longer, that came to us at around 7:40, even then it wasn't much, I ordered just a bowl of chips while my mate got a chicken burger meal and a side of onion rings. Again, were not sure why it took so long, the pub did have a decent amount of people inside, but no one seemed to be eating food so we don't get why it took so long. My mate had to carry half of the meal out in a paper napkin and eat it as we walked as it had gotten so late we thought we'd miss our gig. Both mine and my mates chips were cold, along with the onion rings he'd ordered so we assumed that our order had been put aside and forgotten about.

Such a shame we experienced what we did yesterday, it seemed like a great pub - it looks beautiful on the outside as well as the inside, it's well lit, has a great atmosphere, it's just a shame the food and our wait times spoiled the experience. I hope in the future, when I'm in Warrington again, I can come back to this wetherspoons and it'll be x100 times better...

Myself and my partner went for breakfast with his son on Boxing Day and it was one the worst experiences we’ve ever had from a spoons. The cups were filthy so my partner ended up washing the cups himself from the upstairs glass collection point which was filthy and full of beer flies.. he ordered the veggie breakfast which came with half the items missing when he complained they brought the back the same food with the missing items that had been left aside in the kitchen but were really overdone and inedible, when my partner complained the lady working snatched the plate from him and didn’t even give him an apology they finally brought back the right order with the amended missing items but the rest of the breakfast was stone cold as they’d clearly just left the plate there whilst fixing the order to the pint where he’d had to complain a 4th time about a veggie meal which isn’t difficult to put out and had to ask them to just microwave the lot again because we’d been waiting half hour for a simple veggie sausage beans tomatoes mushrooms and toast to be ready heated and corrected with the hash browns if never seen anything like it! The carpets hadn’t looked liked they’d been cleaned and there had been an empty coffee cup and beer glass sat on at able on a quiet service for 3 hours between the time I’d gone in at 9:30 for a coffee and done shopppiny before coming back in with the other two for food. My eggs Benedict with mushroom however was nice and the son enjoyed his wrap it’s just a shame about the customer service...
