Visited the Derbion Store 7/9/24, 6:30pm, I am heavily pregnant and was given appalling and passive agressive treatment from Kim. l'd ordered a chicken box meal. I ate the boneless chicken first no issue chicken was cooked fine. Bit into the chicken wing and it was cold. I spat the chicken out and noticed blood. I then pulled the remaining wings apart and each wing had blood and grey meat. I took the wings to the till in the box meal box, and showed them, the wings. Chicken meat was grey and very bloody. Manager Kim said it was fine, and it was just blood vessels. She took the box and chicken and gave me a new set of wings. I took them back and again. Chicken was very bloody and again grey. I took my tray back to the counter with my chips and sides. I asked simply for a refund as the whole meal was ruined. I'm pregnant and it's dangerous for me to eat bloody uncooked chicken. Kim was extremely rude, told me I couldn't be refunded for the meal. That the chicken was fine. I said it's not fine, my whole meal has made me feel sick and ruined. She said I can't because you've not got the box etc with the meal. I said okay, let me go back to the table and see if it's still there. I returned and had remembered she had taken the box meal away. The only thing left on my tray was the new set of wings, and chips and sides. I had both my meal ticket and receipt with me. I said, you're the one that has taken the box initially away. That had all the wings that was not eaten and had been opened to show they was bloody and grey. She offered a refund of £2.50, I said I wanted the whole meal refunding as it had all been ruined. I still hadn't eaten my chips or sides as the bloody chicken had made me feel sick. I asked for her name and she wouldn't give it me, she didn't have a name badge on either. I then asked for the area managers name, she said she had to make a phone call and left me stood there for 25 minutes to make a this call. After waiting another male manager, who was sympathetic agreed she'd been unreasonable gave me the name of the general manager and Kim's name. The whole experience was disgraceful and upsetting and prolonged unnecessarily, Kim's behaviour was unprofessional and snarky. I was never given a refund...

From the adverts I’d seen and what I heard, it sounded like we were in for a real treat.
Ordering didn’t go off to a great start… We tried the self serve screens and non of them worked/ accepted payment. We ended up have to queue and ordering with the guy behind the till. My partner mentioned about the screens not working and they didn’t seem to have a clue or seem too bothered.
I ordered a regular chicken burger with fries and a drink and my partner had 3 chicken tenders with fries and a drink. We also got the biscuit as well as the mash and gravy to try on the side.
I’ve got to say that the burger and chicken tenders did look very nice but other than we were both quite disappointed with our meals. My burger looked very small for saying my meal came to £8.99, the burger and fries tasted okay but all I could really taste was grease if I’m honest. I think if I had the choice to have KFC or Popeyes, KFC would win every time. My partner felt the same about his meal and we both really didn’t enjoy the biscuit and mash with gravy. The biscuit looked and tasted like a salty scone. The mash tasted very artificial and the gravy was just weird.

Read moreWe went on Tuesday night from Aston on Trent to derby with my family we reached there at 7:58 something went on kiosk was placing order but kiosk went off and said we are closed i went on the till I don’t know the name of lady but she definitely was Pakistani or Indian wearing hijab she was the manager she told me don’t worry I’ll take your order in till so went on placing order and we wanted their chicken combo she was so nice and polite her customer service was fab she said to us it’s our closing time and to prevent waste we don’t put much of chicken down but I still will do for you but you will have to wait for like 20mins if that’s ok we agreed and placed and order of £45 approx food was nice and fresh me my wife and kids enjoyed not only that she said to us if we want any drinks as she had a Fanta in spare and was continuously checking on us if everything was ok she did ask her to give feedback but she never said her name and neither in rush we ask her but we just want to thanks her whole heartedly for been so nice and good human it’s good for a company to have people who are helpful and courtesy towards customer we definitely will visit again and ask her...
