I went into store on 23.04.23 around 4pm. I didn’t realise there was a queue as the other customer was stood in the doorway and not at the front. Was told extremely rudely (which I did point out at the time) “you need to get to the back of the queue” this particular lady with dark hair wasn’t doing much really and other lady with blonde hair seemed to be rushed off her feet getting orders ready. I heard the original lady serve other customers with no customer service skills or friendly manner. I visit this store regularly as I’m a retail manager myself and work around the corner. All the team are usually very friendly, helpful and polite especially the manager so my only guess is as the manager wasn’t in and that it was towards the end of the day she’d “had enough and couldn’t be bothered” I really hope it was a one off but felt that strongly I had to leave a review. Read moreI have been a paying customer for many years and enjoyed the serviced provided by staff at pound bakery until now.the staff just stood and watched as me and my young daughter were spoken to rudely not once but twice just because I had paid for food and then my 7yr old child wanted a drink.this staff member shouted oh what now then I just looked at her thinking how dare she talk to me like that just because my daughter wanted a drink?then instead of an apology I received more bad attitude.I know the Pound bakery company will not tell their employer to give an apology to me and my 7year old daughter because this is the type of people they employ.I am disgusted at this person.these are people I've avoided and kept my young children away from.it just proves people who are not cut out to work with people are being given those...

Unfortunally, there is no way to contact them to let them know their Blackburn store is below hygiene standards, I'll be going on their Facebook page later as that is the only contact method they provide.
Feel free to go if you need a...
