Drove past a few times and liked the look of the pasties here. Was hungry after a long shift. Wasn't cheap, but she was a good size. Staff were friendly, but as I walked out realised it was stone cold. Took a bite and it wasn't even cooked properly. Potato and carrot were still crunchy! Whoever made it couldn't even be bothered to peel the potato or slice it down. Pure lazyness. Couldn't taste any seasoning. It was horrid. Worst pasty I have ever had and I know my pasties ( having been a world pasty judge). Had to throw it in the bin and I never do that. Disgrace to Cornish Pasties. Went into the shop to no greeting by the 2 staff - bearing in mind there were no other customers in the shop. No hello, no good bye. The only form of conversation I got was “anything else?” I was nothing but polite so not sure what the sass was about by the young lady I was served by! We were on our way to the Fowey car ferry to cross the river and do the Hall walk, from Bodinnik to Polruan (which is jolly good if you like that sort of thing). In need of some sustenance for the journey, we stopped in and bought a couple of traditional steak pasties. They were huge and smelled amazing.
