Lovely spot to have a take away drink from The Lugger Inn. Really peaceful location to watch the Fowey-Polruan ferry dock every 15 mins or so. A large amount of seating is available so you could bring food and buy drinks from the pub or both as they have a takeaway menu and collection point. Highly recommend on a lovely sunny evening.

The location of the marina was ideal due to its natural protection from the sea. Not only for those looking for historical places, but for those who want to feel the atmosphere of Cornwall.

We also had a delicious meal in a restaurant in the port. Deutsch: 2016 haben wir Polruan besucht. Es ist ein sehr schönes Hafenstädtchen und hat eine gemeinsamen Bucht mit Fowey. Der Hafen und seine Ausblicke sollte man sich bei einer Reise nach Cornwall nicht entgehen lassen. In einem Restaurant im Hafen haben wir zudem lecker gegessen.

Polruan is a quaint holiday village accessible by either one road in/out or by using the passenger ferry from Fowey. The Luggers pub serves good hearty pub fare and offers a takeaway service to. On several nights during the week they lay on entertainment in various formats. There is a fantastically stocked village store, bakery and cafe/takeaway. There is another pub set back from the quay.
