Ragamuffins — Restaurant in England

Just back from Falmouth and lunch at Ragamuffins. It has to be said the toasted sandwiches my husband and I had were the best we have ever eaten. It appeared also that the Ham for my toastie had to be sourced, which they went out of their way to do so, and the first we knew about it was when we were apologised to by the owner for the delay and offered another coffee and tea on the house. An amazing gesture, especially as we didn't mind the wait anyway knowing the toasties were made with fresh produce. Excellent service, excellent food and friendly attentive staff. We were able to take our 🐕 in too. He had a much welcomed dog treat from a jar. Not a huge café, which is exactly the way we like it, spotless and tastefully decorated with views of the harbour and Fowey from the rear window. Definitely recommended and we will certainly be going back there to try something else from the menu.

We dined here as a group of 7 for lunch this afternoon (plus a dog) - after we walked past a few other cafes in Falmouth, we were so glad we came upon Ragamuffins! From popping our head in to check for a table, we were greeted with an amazingly warm welcome and delicious smells of the food being handmade right at the front of the shop. The small number of staff were incredibly friendly and the lady making the sandwiches was so brilliant at ensuring our orders were correct (we'd asked to remove things from our toasties!). When the food came, we were all delighted by the incredible food, and it was made freshly so quickly! We loved this little cafe and will certainly popping in again next time we're on holiday in Cornwall! Thank you...

Let me set the scene… my friend, Nat, has just told me that “Falmouth is not known for their sandwiches.” Well, Nat, I have news for you! Ragamuffins had the most delicious and reasonably priced chicken bacon sandwich I’ve had in the UK. I was about to get in a rowboat and row all the way back to the US to find a deli with a mean attendant who would yell at me as he passes me the most delicious sandwich. I was willing to take that abuse because I wanted a sandwich so so bad. But!! I didn’t even need to do that because Ragamuffins swooped in and saved the day. Plus, the service was nothing short of excellence. I highly highly recommend this shop for afternoon lunch or whatever. Exquisite sandwiches. I feel like...
