Red India — Restaurant in England

Where to start... We've been going to Red India (Oakham) for over 10 years. This restaurant is amazing! But I'll share more of our experiences. Really amazing, attentive and friendly staff. The food really is the "real deal" for Indian / Asian cuisine. Standouts for us is the Rogan Josh, Korma, Goan Chicken, Lamb Tawa, Magnificent Seven and the recent addition, Gunpowder Masala. Not to exclude King Prawn and White Fish dishes too!!

Please, please, please support this amazing business. We've had friends and family, frenemies even (lol) dine here. What really stands out is the consistency with the food and service.

This was our second time in The Red India Restaurant The food is of very high standard The restaurant itself has run for 11 years and that speaks for success in volumes . I was so impressed with how both my husband and I received top service from the professional staff who were most polite and helpful. I thought the surroundings were clean and the tables were very neatly layed with clean table cloths and shiny cutlery I had a very pleasant meal with my husband and I would highly recommend this as a competitor to other restaurants who are new here in Oakham as I mark my personal experience on the food and the service as well as how long they have...

Visited recently. Have been previously and enjoyed myself on those occasions. However, on this visit I was presented with the menu and chose a curry that I wanted - which when it arrived was really tasty and well presented. But... When it came to the bill, it was considerably more than I expected. On challenging the staff, it seemed that I had apparently been 'given the wrong menu' which just happened to be substantially cheaper than the REAL menu (which they had behind the counter) Despite my complaining, they wouldn't budge on the price meaning my meal was more than £10 more expensive than expected....
