Date of post 13/09/2020 York City I'm in a Place called Roberto Authentic Italian Gelato .😷 IN GOODRAMGATE YORK CITY if you ever pay a visit to this particular place and you are looking for an authentic Gelato, You will not be disappointed it's AMAZING .There are many flavours all made on the premises all to be tried. ..You will after this point never taste Gelato like this anywhere else 🍦🍨☕🍵🍰(Don't blame me if you get hooked on it haaaaaa) .It truly is Gorgeous honestly. It also serves homemade pizza slices (Veggie as well.)Coffees Tea's the usual drinks hot and cold. Cakes/sweets etc.Tell you what! Normally I would leave a positive review. The ice cream here is amazing and easily the best in York.

However the bad review comes from the too good to go order. I collected it and there was very few items inside however the most concerning thing is I had teacakes I think they were and they were rock hard with mould on them! I understand reducing food waste but giving customers mouldy items is not acceptable especially when I could be very ill from it. I'm really disappointed and I might not return due to this.

Update: After saying sorry and having a free ice cream which is fantastic as usual I have changed my review. I believe it was just a bad order and not representative of this establishment.

Well worth visiting and I will return as a regular but I won't be doing the too good to go...

I was passing by and I felt very attracted by this little Italian place, especially because the gelato looks absolutely amazing. I decided to step in and asked for a simple americano, and to my surprised what I received was some sort of coffe concentrate that not only was bitter to the point of being impossible to drink, but also looked nothing like an americano coffe. I'm not sure if they made a mistake, or if they regularly serve this kind of coffee thinking that it is actually an americano, but of one thing I'm sure, an americano coffee is not an extremely strong quadruple shot espresso. No need to add that the coffee was so horrendous that after a single sip my tastebuds were screaming for water - that bitter it was - and I decided to leave straight away....
