First time trying this curry house . Order for home delivery arrived in time which was nice .. Had mixed kebab starter . The lamb was really tough and chewy everything else was OK..the onions etc. Had tikka massala and tikka jalfrezie curry's and mushroom rice . Garlic nann Tikka chicken in both curry's was dry and over cooked. . . Not much flavour.. massala was really spicy and had tomatoes chopped in half in the sauce ?? . . Jalfrezie was ok for what it was and supposed to be with fresh green chiiles but had no tomatoes or peppers . Just onions and chillies . .. Nann bread was nice but mushroom rice was really a big let down . Just a normal pilau rice with a few minute mushrooms chucked in . . Rubbish . Not a mushroom rice at all . Was expecting good thing from this restaurant. Really disappointed.. very clearly have a chef who thinks every dish has the same sauce . And cant...
Read moreWe were in Swindon for the day and fancied a curry... Came across Ruchi and we are so glad we did! Nice atmosphere with lightening and tables. The main guy serving was so friendly and helpful! I always like a bit of a recommendation and guidance to what curry to go for, and he was so helpful and didn't mind at all! Myself and my partner had Chicken Tikka and Onion Bhajis to start which were very yummy and good sized portions.. And then my partner had a mixed grill main and I had the Garlic Chilli Chicken, with naans and rice. All very very tasty and quite large portion sizes! We had a fair bit to take home with us for the next day (which the guy helped us package up nicely)! Overall, the friendly, funny, welcoming service and tasty, good-sized food made it for us so much, we will definitely be back! Might even venture into Swindon just to go here to be...

Both dishes were as bland and diabolical as each other, if it weren’t to the slight difference in colour one would have been forgiven for calling them the same awfulness.
Credit where credit is due, the mixed kebab and pakora starter were lovely. Furthermore, when we contacted Ruchi to inform them, replacement dishes of our choice shortly arrived after. Albeit, the quality that night was on vacation. A refund would been something they couldn’t...
