Went there for dinner - food was OK asked if they had any single malt whiskey and was told yes Jamesons is single malt - clearly had no idea what he was talking about. When ordering we were told we could only order once - when challenged the waiter changed his mind and said he could not control the kitchen and if we needed more naan breads it could take a while as its busy and usually at weekends they only allow people to place one order so we should order more now. Bill arrives and was wondering why we were charged £6.40 for 4 poppadoms - the owner explained it was a tray charge included for pickles and also showed us where it is stated on the menu. We agreed to pay even though he insisted he would take it off - one of our party said it would review the restaurant and the owner basically just flipped and told us never to come back to his restaurant! Asked my friend where he was from - told him Pakistan to be told that's why you are the way you are - extremely OUTRAGEOUS! We after a few exchanges of words paid and left.
If you want a slow calm meal do not go here as you will feel rushed as it seemed they just want you in and out.,
Not impressed needless to say will not be returning...

Indians are known for their hospitality and warm nature. That's why I visited here today on 14th Feb with my hubby and 1yr old baby.
We made booking in 1 day advance and when we reached there. They were not aware of it. So we were given a table in a tiny small area where there were just yellow walls despite being having so many empty tables in in the center.
While ordering main course staff didn't mention about the prices that given prices are for small or big portions.
When we complaint to owner (I guess) dada about seat because he was the one who booked table for us, said that this place is good...you have baby with you she will not be comfortable in center seats. I guess if that would be the case then we won't have come. I mean really there were other prams too. That's excuse you have come up with.
On top of that they over charged us in bill, thank God we noticed it and got it corrected.
My suggestion just avoid visiting..if you really wanna spend and have good Indian food visit somewhere else. This is not a true Indian restaurant.
Really disappointed. Arrogant staff, no good ambience, no high chair for babies, no...
Read moreThese 2 stars only because food was good. It overpriced compared to qunatity. Staff was not seen to be keen to serve. We ordered papad that's 80 p each so we ordered 4 but in bill we got 6.4 total rather than 3.2 so we were told that it's charged for spicy and not plain where we were not told like this and we have not mentioned anything for spicy or plain ..6.4 pound for 4 papad was crazy .. we also ordered Naan and one of Naan was overcooked that we shown to waiter but even acknowleging that it was overcooked that we could not he has neither replaced nor deducted from bill , ideally if something is not cooked properly , we should not be paid for that. After having a good food these kind of things should be taken with precaution with customer and restaurant should not charge hidden things without letting a customer know.we could not say anything as we came with guest but this made us little cheated at end. Also when we aksed for a bill then waiter said that they give debit card receipt and they have not given us any vat receipt ? How can this be possible with such a reputed restaurant for not giving...
