Saffron Fine Indian Dining Brackley — Restaurant in England

Ordered tonight & it arrived quick but unfortunately it was terrible, all the chips were at the bottom of the bag because they were so greasy the paper bag had fallen through. There was a thick layer of oil on one of the dishes and the onion bhajis were swimming in grease. Called the restaurant up and explained, they sent a fresh order out promptly and it was the opposite of the first delivery. Food was fresh, far from greasy, piping hot and delicious. Not the greatest picture, but pretty much the greatest curry in Brackley! I have been in here before, only sampling the mixed grill, which was nice, but not as nice as the lamb jalfrezi I had tonight. Portion size could have been slightly more, but what it lacked in quantity, it returned in quality. Lovely slow cooked pieces of actual lamb, cooked in a lovely medium hot sauce with green chilies, I am a slight connoisseur when it comes to jalfrezi's and it's going to take a lot to beat that one! The flakey paratha was sublime. All washed done nicely with a couple of Cobra Beers.

For me Indian food has to tick two core boxes. Consistently of product and quality of meat.

Consistency both in eating on any day of the week and also for dining in vs takeaway. Saffron smash this out the park. Quality on every visit and takeaway.

The meat quality here is top notch. Sometimes you find the lamb or chicken can be rubbery or chewy with Indian food. Not here. The meat is tender and melts in the mouth.

To make this a more rounded review. The service can sometimes feel a little rushed at times, however overall friendly staff and atmosphere. All in all...
