Costa — Restaurant in England

Popped in here earlier today, was our second visit, have to say it's one if the nicest Costa Coffee I've been into, a little quirky the layout was but plenty of seating areas. Most important observation today was the young guy Henry and female colleague whose name I've forgotten (sorry) they were both brilliant in their customer service, speedily and efficiently working through the long queue of customers and they seemed to be in perfect unison working together, communicating and multi tasking. It must be acknowledged when we encounter good polite efficient customer service staff and their efforts recognised, there's too many bad service staff out there so well done to Henry, the young lady too also the other Asian girl in the background clearing tables and cleaning, great...

I went today to the Costa by the Frank and Benny's today and after I picked my coffee, I parked my car and went to sit outside, because I saw two gentlemen there. When I was about to sit down one of them told me that it was drive in only, I told him that I knew, in fact I just went through to grab my coffee, but since they were there I thought it would be ok, but he answered me that he could because he was employee and the other person was his father. I answered that since his father was not an employee I would have the same right to sit there, but he denied that I could. Used the drive through Costa, not the market place Costa. Some of the staff are good but some are just plain rude (Yes Laura/Lauren we were shocked by you lack of service and utter disgust that we asked if you had our favourite toasties in stock, last time it wasn’t even you we asked and you interrupted rudely). Customer service needs a lot of work. Why the menu keeps changing god only knows. We like our routine but they frequently run out of somethings but always seem to have loads of the same stuff that clearly doesn’t sell as fast.
