My partner and I travelled around three hours from Worcestershire to visit this store, we based our entire holiday around the fact that we wanted to visit and we were not disappointed! Though a smaller store, it certainly is mighty! There were three members of staff and we were dealt with by two. One of the staff members openly said they were new and apologised a few times for not knowing how to do some things on the till, but you can tell they are fully into the cosmetics revolution and already have good knowledge of products available. The other staff member managed to complete our transaction and really went above and beyond to make sure we could exchange our pots, use a gift card and a voucher (we were quite complicated, but never made to feel so). Adding to this they were really chatty and we had a great chat about the local area and they recommend a beach that we later went to and enjoyed. They kindly cut some soap beautifully for us and as a random act of kindness gave us a pin badge and application brush (I'd not brought mine on holiday so it meant I could use my mask at home!) My partner was able to try some of the HTTYD beard oil and fell in love, there was none in store so they checked the Bournemouth store for us so we could grab some if they did, which was again really helpful! I was able to pick up a perfume and two fresh face masks, products I've never used before but am very excited to try now! We didn't get the staff members names, regretfully, but all three were so friendly and really made shopping a great experience. We will return again to this shop and happily make many more purchases. I recently had the most incredible spa experience at Lush. My son surprised me with a Christmas gift voucher, and it turned out to be one of the best presents I've ever received. I booked for the Synaesthesia 80 minute massage experience. From the moment I arrived, Karen, my therapist, made me feel completely at ease. She was not only warm and welcoming but incredibly skilled. Her attention to detail and her ability to create a truly relaxing atmosphere was remarkable. Every aspect of the treatment was heavenly, from the soothing scents to the calming sounds and luxurious products that felt like a true indulgence for my skin.

Karen's expertise was evident throughout, as she tailored the experience to meet my needs, focusing on areas of tension and ensuring I felt completely rejuvenated. By the time my session ended, I felt like I was floating on air – stress-free, refreshed, and completely pampered. The spa itself was a peaceful sanctuary, very quirky and the ambience added to the overall serene experience.

A bit of a long story but I was in Bournemouth Lush and got amazing customer service - middle aged man who doesn't enjoy shopping so not a place I am very comfortable so was very grateful for the help and advice. Was less grateful when the paper bag got soaked in the rain and I dropped on of the bathbombs (present for Xmas) I am not local to the area and didn't have time to go back to the shop at this point as I had to get back to poole to collect a child. Thought it might be worth a shot at going to Poole at closing time on Sunday but with 5mins to go we turned up at an industrial estate (seems lush has manufacturing in Poole as well as retail!) Anyway a quick call to Ross to see what I had done wrong and despite being closed he offered to sort it out as they would still get in the store cashing up.
