Shorecrest — Restaurant in England

I have to say I don’t post reviews very often but my wife, daughter and myself have just had a fantastic meal here in the restaurant at the St Moritz hotel. We come here every year and always have a great time. Last year we had a great meal in Cafe Rojano and the St Pedroc bistro in Padstow. We also had a terrific meal in the St Moritz hotel restaurant and it was definitely up there. So we are fussy about our food and like to spend a lot of money on food. The meal we just had in the restaurant in the St Moritz tonight was fab. I had a 3 course meal and each course was a delight and the whole meal was faultless. Not cheap but worth it and served by 3 wonderful young people. Highly recommended. I would put the quality as on a par with the meal we had in the St Pedroc last year and actually a more enjoyable...

It was a very good surprise to find a restaurant with so much quality within a summer holiday resort. Honestly, I truly appreciate hotels that serve proper food and not just assume they will have a bunch of people anyway just because it's convenient. We had dinner there in our first night and, apart from a frozen butter that we couldn't really cut even with an axe, everything was very good. The veal being my favourite! This same restaurant serves the breakfast every morning and we were surprised again by the quality of different options from the menu we had during the days we've stayed there.
