Absolutely outstanding pub, the bass really is as good as they say... also very versatile atmosphere from chilled drinker's pub to a mint place for watching sports and even a lively evening spot. And it's good value... if you want to experience the real Stockton this is where to find it!

Five stars for food. They don't serve it it's a pub. Only one ale on draft but that has resulted in a decent turnover and therefore the Bass was a delight.

lady bar tender with dark hair . refused to serve my wife saying she was to drunk . she had only had 2 drinks in another bar. we accepted that and bought a drink . my wife just took it on chin and missed that round . then the lady came over shouting at us . telling us to quieten down . bearing in mind it was 7pm on a friday. . we werent being rowdy or nothing . so 2*...

Had a fantastic afternoon for megan’s Birthday on sunday .Tables reserved for us staff went above and beyond even had prosecco on our tables which wasn’t expected but what a lovely gesture from the landlord &landlady .. Very much appreciated !! Have to say think everyone had the best time love...
