Spring Cottage — Restaurant in England

Always a joy to come here for a bite to eat. I came here yesterday with my sister and cousin for some tea after doing the garden, they are always happy to see a new (or old) customer walk in their doors. I also noticed they have upgraded the menus from being a small light up board to some pretty decent TVs, good job! Also they interacted with my 5 year old cousin and even gave her a small lollipop when waiting, have not seen that since I was her age! They also always try to engage in a conversation with you instead of leaving you bored waiting for your food. We ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza, a large bag of chips, a small bag of chips, a cheeseburger with salad, a small bag of onion rings and a 12" margarita pizza which only come to around £25 and tasted amazing! Heck I'm eating it the next day whilst writing this 🤣🤣🤣 It was not the first and definitely not the last time coming here. Just been here 10minutes ago, eating my donnermeat &chips with cheesy garlic bread, it's that good I had to write a review, firstly the donnermeat is cooked perfectly, it's juicy and got a lovely meaty taste, every bite is on point, the chips are crispy with a generous amount of seasoning, the chips could be a little bit more crispy but that's down to preferences, the cheesy garlic bread is extremely cheesy and strong bursts of garlic in each bite, the crust is absolutely perfect, I asked for garlic butter with my order and they put it on the donnermeat and chips instead of in a tub, in my opinion this is amazing because it melts into it instead of being clumpy and a big mess, I've tried many other takeaways and this tops the list, the cashier is very talkative and gives positive vibes, the staff cracks on straight away and doesn't wait around, the genral area is very clean and fresh,its very hard to find a takeaway with all these positives,if you haven't tried it, you need to.I WILL be a...

First time here tonight in years. First thing you notice is how clean the reception and work areas are. The phone going constantly another sign that they must be doing something right. I had ordered ahead for collection and was waiting 5-10 mins for which the staff apologised for. I had the Special Calzone but chicken instead of Donner meat was pleased to see that it was chicken breast rather than cheap cubed chicken which other takeaways use on pizzas. The lad who is picky at best enjoyed his pizza too nice thin crispy base instead of the thick dougjy ones that are common in Hull. Excellent quality and good prices tried it as fed up of closer ones and I know it is only goi g to make them busier but will be going back again, apologies...
