Ordered two ice drinks, two hot sandwhiches and two pastries. They called our name for sandwhiches, 5 minutes later they call for the pastries 10 minutes later call our name for one of the drinks an iced frappachino. As my husband stood up to get it a man grabbe sit and rsubed out. When he tried to explain to the staff member he didn't seem to want to listen at first. Said that we'd ordered a hot drink and he'd took right one until they called for our second drink and the lady who served us came over which is when we pointed out what had happened again and they eventually replaced the other drink. I mean it's bad enough when people grab the wrong drink, I'd understand if he had ordered a cold drink but his had been a hot drink, but frankly the staff could have been a bit more on the ball, maybe try serving stuff together and when a customer talks to you try listening and taking them seriously. I won't fault the young lass she was great. However she was on the till, it was the lad my husband spoke to that spoilt it all, he just snapped at my husband telling him he was on headset arrogantly and walked off then ignored when he did point it out and tried to say we'd ordered a hot one, . Read moreThis branch hasn't been open long but think they need to get themselves much more organised and a better system to flow production of drinks. At 3pm on a Friday afternoon the queue inside of customers waiting was extremely long, plenty of staff working behind the counter (4 in total) but 2 of which were standing about not doing much. As a regular user of various Starbucks, both as a sit in customer and as a drive-thru customer, I have to say the service was not good at this particular branch. Perhaps it is teething problems, I'm hoping so, but they need to tighten up their practice so it's more productive. Despite having to wait 20 minutes for our drinks to be prepared, the coffee itself was, as always, up to the standard I normally experience when I visit Starbucks, that I cannot fault, but the level of service and lack of organisation really does need to be assessed and pretty quickly. I will leave returning for another month or more before I try this branch again, and hope this will give sufficient chance to rectify their systems. If not, then I'm afraid I won't be...

Had to wait 5 minutes for the server to finish having a conversation with her off shift mate before I could order, didn't apologise for evidently having banter about what they were going to be doing after work when they saw people waiting. The woman who served us may as well have been a random lady, no uniform and couldn't have cared less about helping me order when trying to order with a kid.
Nor did the lady making drinks think getting "slashed" after work seem to think "this is a bit unprofessional to discuss across the cafe". Tables were covered in cups and plates, bussing obviously not a thing for a Wednesday afternoon. If the manager was there watching that team they need a wake up call.
Would rather drive to the other coffee shops at Thinford...
