This review is based on my true experience today at Starbucks Ulverston, first I would like to remind Starbucks it is the customers who are paying therefore they deserve a clean place to sit, relax in peace not dirty floors and tables, the place was empty not busy so what is the excuse? staff were not good at all the staff were clueless, confused and showing frustration this is appalling, I had to wait a long time to be served, there was no standard it was just a big mess. There were 2 women serving one didn't even know the till and even said she doesn't like it! drive thru customers were waiting long as well and my friends order was wrong, one person name logan was very unprofessional he was throwing tantrums making a drama, taking a fit making a Frappuccino and I even heard logan say I cant do this and don't like to do it, this is terrible for customers to see and hear. I cannot believe what has happened to Starbucks, terrible service, unprofessional and rude staff and dirty? I had even seen there private work folder and paperwork on the cake counter what is this a cheap market? If Starbucks read this I would suggest you take note and make this place a great place for your customers if you don't then you will have many problems in the future...

Ordered a matcha latte and coffee via the drive through. I politely asked if they knew how to make the matcha latte as the last one I ordered at another branch didn’t and it was undrinkable.
We were asked to come to the next window where we were met by the assistant manager who asked us for our order. We said we had already ordered. However when I asked him the same question he said “all our staff are fully trained before they can serve so they do know what they are doing”. When I explained what had happened at a previous branch his response was “Well if it was that bad why have you come back? and next time don’t be so rude to the staff “. I was not being rude, I was politely asking a question based on a previous experience. He constantly talked over me and would not let me explain the situation. I took his name and asked for a refund.
I do not expect to be treated and spoken to like this. He was rude from start to finish. This is totally unacceptable and will be taken further...
Read moreA very pleasant thirst quenching experience was had after a long journey back from work. As we entered the store we were greeted by a friendly, happy and pleasant young man (Patrick) . He instantly took our order which was complicated and but got it exactly right! We found him very helpful explaining the choices and ranges available. Asked us to take our seats as he would bring our drinks over to us, which he promptly did after only a few minutes. The drinks were amazing of a very high quality as was expected. Hot and refreshing definitely hit the mark and set us ready for our onward journey. We will most definitely return when we pass next time and look forward to Patrick...
