Station Buffet — Restaurant in England

Position of the table 5 could be better as I had the bums of old men in my face as I ate. Not good.

Had the avocado on toast with eggs and bacon bits last time and was looking forward to it throughout our hour and a half drive here. Whichever lady served us at till interrupted and said they don’t do the avocado on toast until midday yet there was a lady a couple of tables up from us with avocado on toast!!!! If you’re gonna have rules, make them apply to everyone. Only fair.

When we did order, the same lady informed us that they don’t serve eggs after 12, which was disappointing. Although when the avocado on toast with bacon (not bacon bits as it said in the menu!) did come it was really good! Would recommend! Just wish the lady told us about the eggs so I could order the eggs before 12 and after 12 order my avocado on toast, which is a carry on but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. Coffee was lovely. Staff looked busy. It’s always full whenever we make the journey up here....

Food is always good but for some reason they have stopped serving eggs at lunchtime .. the advocado toast can’t be eaten at lunchtime with a poached egg “eggs are for breakfast only”??? So switched to mushroom bun which has delish … but what a random rule no eggs at lunchtime??? Also the feedback QR code which is posted in the restaurant for feedback/ great idea ..but not when you have no WIFI it simply doesn’t work..again random Therefore Eggs and WiFi please add them to the menu to improve the...

I can see someone recently was disappointed with their Welsh rarebit, maybe they've made changes since because mine was delicious. One bit of toast but lovely good quality thick bread with lots of yummy tasting cheese. Delicious chips (I like carbs so was happy with this accompaniment) and a simple but crisps salad.
