Subway — Restaurant in England

Never been so disappointed by a subway before. Visited at Wednesday lunchtime. There were 4 people in front of me in the queue, I thought not bad usually only takes 10 minutes or so to get through that many. I ended up having to wait 40 minutes until I got served. I counted 5 customers that gave up and left presumably because they would have been late for work.

The 2 staff there were extremely slow, asking what people wanted on their subs over and over even though they had been told 10 seconds earlier.

I am not sure if it’s the staff being slow or being understaffed this lunchtime but there needs to be something done as it was not on at all.

To top that off, when requesting the salads I wanted on my sub, the girl put on a tiny amount of lettuce. When asking for more, she said that tub of lettuce needs to last them until their next delivery. I can understand that it isn’t the staffs fault here but as I paying customer I should get the usual amount of salad.

The owner/manager needs to make some improvements at this store. More consistent deliveries of stock, better trained/more staff. Won’t bother coming back here for a few months at least, whilst they hopefully get their...

I wasn't happy with the poor quality of service I received. The toaster and hot drinks machine was out of order, so I ordered a wrap, then the member of staff walked off without saying anything and left me languishing whilst the person in the queue was being served by her colleague. The next thing I know, she was walking out the building on her mobile phone. When I was eventually served by the other member of staff, she informed me that they had no wraps so I had been waiting around 10 minutes for nothing! I gave some feedback about this on the company website but they didn't even dignify me with a response. Today literally just now been to Subway Middlewich, and writing a review as my experience was not the best!

Poor service:- not listening to what I ordered, proceeding to wrap the sandwich, before all salad I asked for was applied, repeating again what I wished for, met with a frown and a sigh as if I was asking for the impossible!

(It maybe minimum wage and to be honest think I would struggle to be motivated in this position).

But shocking service and wasn't just me having problems placing my order at the time!!
