A bit disappointing.
Out for a cycle ride and got a bit peckish so looked on google and found this place so decided to call in for the first time, firstly the restaurant is spotless and decor is very lovely and a little outdoor area which is always a great touch,
Onto the food, The main meals were amazing we had the Wexford chicken and the honey chicken and honestly both were amazing, and the chef even came out to check on us and see how we liked the food which I thought was very nice. Heās a lovely Spanish gentleman, who definitely knows how to cook.
Finally onto the disappointment desert we went for the eaten mess and chocolate brownie, Both not good. The eaten mess with more cream and fruit almost no meringue. And the brownie seemed it was microwaved to long unfortunately I couldnāt eat it.
Although the 4 star review we will be back, just maybe skip...

It's a shame so many places like these have had the character expunged through decades of unwise interior refits. Surely there has to be some effort to make the interior feel in harmony with the building itself. But nope, safety first that you can find replicated thousands of times across the country. The food and drink would have to be absolutely outstanding to compensate for this, whereas it's just good. Sorry to put any noses out of joint, but I'm of the belief a pub should be distinctive and make a virtue of...
