Subway — Restaurant in England

I just want to start by saying I love subway and getting a salad . But the service from the staff was unacceptable and it was most certainly not “the customers always right “ . Me and two of my friends went in to get a salad and my friend who went first was black skin and she asked if she could have her meat in the corner of the bowl on top of the salad , so the lady got confused then tipped the lettuce out thinking she wanted the meat in the bottom so my friend then explained again to make clear what she wanted . The lady’s reaction was “right, ur not making any sense “ in a very exclamative and rude tone . She was then okay with me and my other friend who are both white . Then we sit down and the lady only sweeps under my black friends seat yet there was nothing under her chair and hit her shoe with the broom . We then went to fill our drinks and we were a bit loud but we didn’t realise so instead of kindly asking please can you lower ur voices the ladies both shout at us “GIRLS ,GIRLS BE QUIET WE CANT HEAR THE PEOPLE ORDERING “ but the tone used was again rude and disrespectful and I believe they thought they could speak to us that way due to use being teenagers and racial actions were used I would put a complaint in but due to them being the only people in there I don’t think it would be taken into action and...

Bevy or Becky is a severe let down for your team. Having came to this restaurant for years, I have never encountered an issue until today. With the shop with 3 people of colour, Bevy became increasingly hostile towards me despite my recurrant attempts to be cordial. I can only attribute her attitide to bigotry, with her seemingly distressed by the gay man in front and then taking her anger out on me claiming that I was making her life hard by asking for one more sandwich when in total I only ordered two.

She then kept changing her story, claiming that I'd somehow said that I only wanted a sandwich when I had literally only read my sick sister's order from my phone. Not once did I respond in a rude manner or tone.

It seems that Becky believes that it is alright to speak down to people when their attributes, such as skin colour, are not to her liking.

Ordered a takeout today, went in store at 13:30, shop was empty and surprisingly no staff behind the counter for at least 5 minutes so I waited and kept saying hello, eventually a young girl comes out and takes the order, no customer service skills, very blunt and no smiles or friendliness, speaks very rudely, makes the order but is very stingy with sandwich filling and salad toppings. Took sandwich home to eat, bread was stale as well as the filling and salad tasted very old and not fresh whatsoever. No wonder subway is going downhill. Horrific staff and...
