Sunny BBQ — Restaurant in England

I can't say the food was bad. The chicken was tender and full of flavour. The Peri Peri chips were okay, but the rice lacked any real substance, some veg might have been nice. This would have been great, but I was given a 75 - 95 minute window, which I was okay with, so when my food didn't arrive in the time window (considering how long it already was), I decided to ring and was told, although very apologetic, the food would be another 45 - 60 minutes. Making my total waiting time around 3 hours, then when the food did arrive, it was warm not hot, just warm. I honestly highly doubt I will order again from here and if you are time constrained, I recommend you don't either. As someone who was once employed as a chef, this is an unacceptable length of time for a customer to wait whether in-establishment or takeaway, even with issues in the kitchen.

I feel awful for leaving a poor review, as the food genuinely tasted good, but I don't feel appreciated at all as a customer and hope you guys can fix issues like this going forward. Keep making good food, just work on delivery.

Finally a place that's authentic and fresh. I'm originally from Manchester, so I'm used to having great food on my doorstep. Since moving to Northwich I've been disappointed with the quality of food in the area. Its only known for the worst KFC in the country and is essentially a food dessert with your bog standard low quality take aways. I thought I'd give Sunny's a try and collected my order. Mediocre and over priced, Considering the cost of the portions from sunny I was expecting more for my buck. Each portion was what I would class as small but priced like large. The Pork belly was over cooked and tasted vinegary and of charcoal. the chips were under cooked.
