Verdin Park — Attraction in Northwich

Please like my review if helpful👍 Verdin park is great for an early morning stroll and to get a bit of exercise. It is quite hilly and needs a little bit of effort in some parts. It is nicely kept and has a nice mix of scenery. There are probably a few more benches needed here and there. The park occupies a commanding position pretty much in the centre of Northwich. A beautiful town park. It is quite small but is well kept. One slight negative is the fact that if you enter the park by the main gates the path is all up a steep hill. However, if you drive past the main gates and turn left at the bottom, you come up past the Hospital and there is a pub car park on the left. Walk into the enterence of the hospital and you will see a farm gate and a gap to the right to get in. The land is still rather bumpy but a lot flatter. Verdin Park is our local place. In last year there has been a new path put in and beautiful new playground for the children. I would probably say for children aged 1-7 years old. There is a skate boarding ramp there aswell. Great area for picnic and dog walking. You can get there easy from town or Castle or Winnington.
