Absolutely delicious. I have had many curries in my time but this is just the best I have ever tasted. From the amazingly well spiced pickles and dips with the popadoms through to the mains and sides, just completely mouthwatering. The generous portion of chicken kebab was perfectly cooked and succulent, the side dishes were also beautifully made and tasted so fresh and vibrant.The lemon rice was also superb. Sunny Spice is now my favourite restaurant and I feel so lucky we have this place in our village. I can't wait to come back to sample all the other lovely things on the menu. Do not hesitate, if you like well cooked and most importantly well spiced authentic Indian food this is the place to eat. I was enjoying the meal with an ex-head chef of several prestigious restaurants in Bristol, he was also as impressed as I was. The price was also very reasonable. Papad – Super crispy, served with two refreshing chutneys and brined onions. Absolutely mouthwatering! Fried Rice, Garlic Naan & Tandoori Roti – Generous portions with an authentic touch. Perfectly made. Kadai Chicken, Fish Curry, Malabar Lamb Perelan & Brinjal Curry – Worth every penny, with good portion sizes. The meats were tender, and the flavors were rich and well-balanced. Masala Tea – The perfect finishing touch, like icing on the cake! Ambience & Service – Warm, inviting atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. Delicious South Indian food and excellent service. They are quite cautious with the heat so do ask for extra chillies, they will be very happy to make it extra spicy. The 2-chilli-rating for the Vegetable Kadai was totally exaggerated ;) but even with a mild heat the flavours were wonderful.
