The MMI Café — Restaurant in England

Lovely coffee break stop before walking to St Agnes Head to trek park of the South West Coast Path.

It’s based within the old men’s mechanical institute which seems to be a Locum hub of activities.

There’s no meals served but we had a toasted tea cake with coffee and there’s a few cakes on offer.

Such a cute little cafe set at the top of the hill. Staff were lovely and friendly! The sun was out so we sat outside, a good amount of seating outside and inside. The hot chocolate was delicious and adorned with cream and roasted marshmallows! Tea was tea, hot and wet!

The cinnamon swirl was absolutely delicious!!

Wish there were a few more vegan friendly options for cakes - there was at least one...

Called in for lunch. Great mixture on the menu ended up having a meal, one of the specials of the day. Food and plates lovely and hot, staff very friendly and cleaning tables, kids toys & the menu pages with a proper spray. Main let down is car parking as there is none close by, on street parking 2 minutes walk there is a bus stop...
