This was booked three weeks ago for a birthday evening. On arrival we were sorted of greeted by a waitress who seemed puzzled that we had booked. After some to and fro with the diary and names, she seemed to acknowledge that we had a booking. The restaurant looked busy so I was relieved that we had booked. However it then went downhill rapidly. “Um , we can fit you in upstairs, would that be ok?” We hadn’t been there, so assumed that maybe it was a bit special upstairs. It certainly was. The four of us were sat at a long table for about twelve people. We were the only ones up there. Zero atmosphere. A dog eared menu clipboard was left on the table. No conversation. Waitress mumbled something and disappeared. We sat there for about ten minutes. A couple of customers appeared to use the toilet which was next to us. We had by now given up any hope of a pleasant birthday evening. As we got up to leave, the waitress reappeared.”is everything ok?” No. We are leaving. I expressed my dismay at the bar on way out and was told ‘Sorry, we didn’t realise…” Well, what’s the point of booking then? Can’t comment on the food as these guys fell at the the first impressions post.
We had hoped to support a local business but they obviously didn’t want or need our £100+ spend. We went across the road to Piazzo Lounge, part of a chain. They were very busy, but, we were greeted at the door, offered a free birthday drink while they found us a table and had a great evening, all without booking. Guess which one we’ll be...

Why did I choose to come here? Well... me n my wife have had a lot going on recently work , family and general life taking over.
We both needed some very much down time and come to a place and relax for a bit and enjoy each other's company and embrace a lovely meal and spend time together.
Ten bottles certainly delivered from the moment I called to making the reservation to the moment we left and paid the bill.
The initial call a very warm welcome conversation I knew this would be the place.to come.
On arrival although a tad early b4 our time we were welcomed in with open arms. Ive never felt to happy to be somewhere so soon.
As we sat at secluded romantic setting just the 2 of us, we were offered our drinks and menus and recommendations never having tapas before we were very humbled and took there advise.
We had the share platter for 2 accompanied by a few dishes that we wanted to try that was recommended. Wow !!! Compliments to the kitchen absolutely beautiful food!!
To finish with a special recommendation a chocolate martini to finish an amazing end to the evening, boi these are to die for!!
We were very well looked after with our visit to point we want to return and will be sharing our experiences with others.
I could give a 6 star rating if I could.
Thank you Ten...
Read morePopped through for a drink a few weeks ago, sadly won't be returning in a hurry. There wasn't much space at the time, we had no reservation as we were making our way around some of the pubs and bars in Wimborne.
The response was, although not frosty, was nuanced enough for us to know this was not a good thing and we all apologised for causing an inconvenience. The fact that we all felt we had to apologise says enough.
I'd have accepted 'sorry no room, come back later' and it was nice of the staff to fit us in, but if it had been that much of a bother then I'd rather have left.
We sat at the bar and had a drink, whilst feeling very judged. Apparently, this isn't the first time that one of our party had been in here and felt as such.
Drinks were nice though, best Old Fashioned I'd had in a while, but the staff attitude upon entering...
