Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in England

First time trying this cafe ordered two poached eggs on toast and a sausage waited 25 minutes!! after which the cook (Heath) brought my order over (and someone else’s) minus the sausage and he shows me the order on my receipt and I say there should be a sausage and he says you want a sausage?? It’s literally on the order he’s showing me, I’m saying it’s there on the order so yes he’s just looking at me with a vacant expression 😶 so he goes back off to his wuthering heights and I wait another five mins for him to plonk a sausage in a bowl on the table (like he’s dropping plutonium!!) No sorry, no smile nothing,,,, just drop it and get out of there !! and as a result my coffee went cold before my order arrived

if I went back in future id just get a coffee the two girls serving (one with blue hair) were both lovely and that’s the only reason gave the service three stars, don’t understand though why they are giving people there drinks before the food arrives if it’s taking so long to...

Back in the old days you used to be able to get a good breakfast, or any meal for that fact, for a reasonable price however this is 2017 and times have changed!

A breakfast with a brew and a couple of rounds of toast will set you back over 8 quid plus the ingredients used are not what you would call top class, in fact I would suggest that the best is being made of the TESCO value range. Even condiments are the cheapest (vilest) despite there being a store full of choice just steps away.

Ordering machines were not all working (resulting in a queue). Ordering machines out of printer paper (no printed receipt which I needed for expense claim). Ordering machines did not have table numbers (no way to check out without it). Food took well over 30 minutes to come out on a busy day when I to get to appointments.
