Subway — Restaurant in England

I never expected to experience such humiliation and discrimination at this Subway branch. On the afternoon of August 20, 2025, I came to the store to pick up a takeaway order. I queued properly behind another customer. However, the person in front was on the phone and needed to use it to make payment. Both the staff member and I were waiting for him to finish his call, which I found to be an unreasonable situation.

I was about to politely ask the staff if I could collect my takeaway order first, since the food had already been prepared and was sitting behind her. The moment I said only “Excuse me,” the female staff member responded to me in a rude and unfriendly manner, saying, “Do you know what priority means?”

I cannot help but feel that this lack of respect and service consideration may be because I am of a different nationality. Could she not simply have asked me politely to wait?

Fresh bread, fresh salad, and quick service. Generally they are always busy however on this day the queue was short and so we were served within 2 minutes, the food was prepared (toasted) within another 2 and we were sat eating.

Ordered a turkey and ham on grain bread, very tasty, salad was lovely with a nice crunch. Let's not beat around the bush its never going to be the greatest of meats in the world, however you get what you pay for and for £1.99 6 inch, i was not going to complain.

Absolutely disgusted, too be slagged off too other costumes, luckily I dident tell my girl friend until I left the shop the food was lovely but staff are snotty no please no Thankyou nothing “can I get you anything els?” And what we got is is that all your having or you having cookies then right snotty gets rushing us stearing at is Walst we are eating and as we are going out slagging us off too other memebers if staff like we couldn’t here her!!
