The Antelope Inn — Restaurant in England

I asked if they had a real ale. I was told they had an IPA. It was poured and given to me. It was not a real ale! It was a freezing cold keg beer that I really couldn’t drink and I was charged £5.20. I tried to complain to the obviously under-trained and frankly couldn’t-care-less female bar person but it was like water off a duck’s back. I said I was mis-sold but she didn’t seem to understand. I asked who owned the pub and was told “Stonegate”. I left the pint virtually in-drunk on the bar, hoping I would be able to claim a refund from Stonegate but the pub is not recognised on their website, other than from them looking for a tenant. I was in the Antelope Inn yesterday for my birthday, we were in a group of 14/15 of us. The staff was more than accommodating for us all. Everyone was friendly, really welcoming. The staff heard it was my birthday and decided to bring out a free tray of shots for the whole group, which was equivalent to roughly £40, they also got the whole pub singing happy birthday to me.
