Full English breakfast - more like a half English breakfast!! My partner and I came here today as a little end of the week treat and itās safe to say we both left disappointed and still hungry. After having spent Ā£10 each on a āfull Englishā, we were definitely expecting more than a small scoop of beans, probably one eggs worth of scrambled eggs, two half pieces of sourdough toast, half a tomato, one button mushroom, a rather mediocre sausage and two bits of bacon.
In addition to this, its £3.60 for a regular caramel latte but it comes smaller and more bitter rather than the sweet bliss it should be.
If you want a snack then go ahead and order the full English breakfast but if youāre going out for lunch and rather hungry, Iād recommend you go elsewhere and get more value for money.
That being said, this cafe was rather cute - it could do with just lowering its prices or making the portion sizes better and more value for money. It has the potential to be great but...

We ordered the kidsā pancakes with fruit and syrup, expecting something reasonably portioned and child-friendly. What arrived was a single, tiny scotch pancakeānot what we had hoped for, especially at Ā£4. To make matters worse, it was swarmed with wasps, making it impossible for our child to enjoy.
I politely asked if we could have two plain pancakes instead to stop the wasps āwas happy to pay ābut was told no. The only option was the one small plain pancake for the full price. The lack of flexibility and empathy from the staff was frustrating, especially given the circumstances.
While the location is nice, this visit really missed the mark in terms of value, service, and basic customer care. Unfortunately, we wonāt be...

The waitress claimed to have cooked it herself and brought it straight from the pan. After a brief exchange she said she would put it back in the pan to warm. No offer of a freshly cooked warm one. A minute later another lady I assume the manager returned with the same food with a thermometer stuffed in it and argued with me the customer that it's at 60 degrees on the inside. After another exchange of my dis-satisfaction that it had then been in an out twice she offered a refund which I took and left. The coffees are good, but small and overpriced. The customer service is lacking In summary,...
