We got off to a bad start immediately, we had Pre booked a table, for myself, partner and 2 infant children - whom are both in a pushchair. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young man, who told us he didn’t think he would be able to accommodate us after all due to our pushchair, despite booking days before. He then told us we may be able to sit in a dark corner (his words) we accepted and sat down. They cleared our table (not cleaned). Once we sat, the waitress behind cleared another table, dropping a tray of glasses (accidentally I’m sure) we began picking shards of glass of ourselves and our young 2 children (2 and 5 months) when we told them, both staff giggled. We should have left then. 5 tables around us were covered in plates and glasses, food all over the floor. In the current situation I’d have liked to have seen things a little cleaner, COVID rules didn’t seem to apply in this establishment. Anyway, we ordered our drinks and noticed a liquid dripping onto our table, into our drinks from the vent above the table in our dark corner. Then the food came. Let me tell you my partner will eat ANYTHING, he had 2 mouthfuls of his lasagna, physically couldn’t eat it (something I’ve never seen before) it was just watery slop. I had the veg Thai green curry with a chicken breast, it came minus the chicken breast. The waiter then explained “sorry DARLIN, you haven’t ordered it” well we did. A microwaved chicken breast then appeared afterwards. My partner complained afterwards about the lasagna, and the waiter told him that they have had many complaints about the food, especially the lasagna. Why still serve it? An awful experience from...

Appalling customer care and management here. Arrived as a group of 5 for food and drink at 8:50pm. Was asked by the waitress if we were all eating, and came back with cutlery for everyone. At no point mentioned the kitchen shuts at 9, also not written in the menu or on the ordering app. Everyone orders and pays on the app, mine crashed so had to redo it and was a few minutes after others. Waitress returns and I get told my order came through just past the magic unknown 9pm cut off so they will not be making my food. When questioned, was told they have already turned off the equipment (not sure how they managed to cook all my friends burgers with the kitchen off). I was told by management that they would not do anything about it except refund me. Instead of sitting there with my party and watching them all eat, I grabbed some chips from across the road to have with my drinks at the table with them but was then kicked out by the door staff for bringing in outside food, of which there was zero effort from management to make any sort of compromise with me so i could still enjoy the meal. Who seats a table takes everyone's orders and serves all bar 1 because their order was last.....complete joke. Worst of all, after asking a staff member what the formal complaint process was, I was told I couldn't make one. At the point my friends had finished and were leaving, you were still able to order food on the app, so I would imagine there was other disappointment...

Arrived about 12.10 with my partner ,daughter and my 2 young children. We sat down and chose our food and drinks which my partner then ordered. There were 3 other tables occupied. All 3 had 2 people on each. The drinks arrived within 5 minutes. I noticed that the other tables were receiving their meals with a 15 minutes between each table. After 45 minutes I asked if our food would be ready. The waitress said it wouldn't be long and went to check. She came back and informed us that they didn't any of the ingredients for 3 of the meals. This included the children's meal by which time 1 of them had fallen asleep. We were told that 1 girl hadn't arrived and that was the reason for the holdup. We asked for a refund which the chef had to come from the kitchen to do as the manager wasn't there either. He tried to refund the amount to our card which wouldn't work and tried ringing the manager to no avail. In the end he gave the refund back in cash. Obviously we are very disappointed and will not...

Came in tonight for some food and a couple drinks. Drinks were great and was a nice atmosphere... also the majority of the food was good. However as we'd pre-paid for the food there wasn't a good opportunity to ask for an issue to be resolved as it was busy and couldn't be bothered to sort out a partial refund. Nobody even asked if our food was ok. Ordered cheesy Nachos, some sweet potato fries and a garlic bread to share. The Nachos and fries were great.... however the garlic bread was horrific. Not sure a seagull would have been able to digest it. It was like chewing though a slice of cardboard. It was stale and horrid. My teeth still hurt now from biting it. Happy to discuss this but tried to find a contact on the webpage but nothing.... so though I'd share my experience and hope someone wants to resolve my issue. Cheers

Refused to service us non-alcoholic mocktails.. As our douthers whated a mocktails . due to a change in their menu policy..... 👎... was told that it was on the app only about the change.... the place could do with a bord outside to advertise this... (false advertisement)... We when to 12 beach Rd instead where the staff there more than happy to serve our daughters mocktails..... The picture below is off the Slug and Lettuce menu this is what my daughter's wanted as you can see 0.0% not 0.5%.... As the manager as clearly stated
