The George Hotel — Restaurant in England

Sadly this pub does not even deserve a 1 star! My fiance and me have visited this pub twice within the last 2 months and have been treated terribly by the staff. The staff are all young girls who are constantly looking in the mirror and ignoring you or worse on there mobile phones talking to there friends, when eventually you receive your drinks they are not even full up and then they give you the wrong drinks! JOKE Tried to put the juke box on but when songs came on the awful staff decided to turn the music down, I thought I was the customer but not here! The toilets were an absolute disgrace with urine everywhere and by all accounts the ladies was the same!!! Not sure whats changed in the last month or so to now require SIX SECURITY STAFF all ganged up on the door! Went in on Saturday night as i normally do only to be stopped and interviewed as to what my intentions where. All i wanted was to collect my takeaway from Henry's, but it seems this chap took issue with my spar bag with a few beers in it! For a long time now this has been a quiet but decent place to go. Popped in for a Sunday afternoon drink in the beer garden, the first time since lockdown. Both my wife and I felt very safe as a result of the well thought out one-way system, all staff wearing face coverings and easy to use ordering system with table service.
