We stopped in on a wet Saturday just before last orders for food (3.30pm FYI) and we were welcomed in as though the day was just getting started. No rush to order just good service and the food when it arrived - exceed expectations. You order a ciabatta and you just expect something typical. More bread than filling usually but this was the opposite - lemon chicken ciabatta and it was bursting out of the ciabatta! Tasty, juicy and just delicious. The chips were great too - home made judging by their shape which always gets extra marks! Very glad we stumbled on this lovely little place!

We went for a second visit after finding this place last year. The food was amazing and as good as our first trip. Last year we came on a Wednesday in September and it was busy but service managing it. This time we went on a Monday in August holidays and was even busier, but that's a testament to how popular it is. The service was really slow. Took a while for drinks to come and were cold by the time food came. Would still go back as food is good and staff are friendly maybe just need a couple more staff.

Delicious English breakfast - excellent sausages and eggs and bacon - thankfully no beans (!) - good coffee too and cool music - also friendly and efficient service - a delightful find on a recent holiday (replaces the Hot Mango, which is now closed, as our favourite café in town).

Good: Lovely food, generous portion but did purchase the large vegetarian breakfast. Mediocre: Latte coffee was served warm and I could have drank it all straight away which I didn’t want to do. I asked for it to be warmer and expected a new one but just received it back warmer but still not hot. Bad: Ordered two coffees, they took 15 minutes to arrive. There isn’t a lot of room to walk between the tables. When we walked in we could see that only one table was free. No one came to greet us so we assumed that we needed to seat ourselves. However one of the servers was clearly not happy that we had done that and mumbled under her breath about us (she was doing the coffee so I’m not sure if that’s what delayed our coffee being served). The worst thing about our whole experience was how cold it was in there. My husband sat with his coat on whilst eating. I had a wool jumper on but had to sit with my coat over my legs for warmth and had my hands in my costs hood until the food was served. I was sat next to a luke warm radiator.

We both said how much we enjoyed the food but that we wouldn’t go back due to the issues with the...

wow what a disappointment after reading good reviews.. as soon as we walked in we were ignored by the girl with long blonde hair, no smile or acknowledgment.. no menus, 20 min wait for our coffee, i had to go & get them myself, our eggs on both our breakfast well overcooked, which on a benidict, needs to be runny.. (they did change my eggs but then the salmon underneath was cooked when its supposed to be smoked salmon not cooked salmon…oh and i ordered 2 extra hash browns which never came .. the waitress then said she forgot to add them to the bill … all in all …...
