The Hub On The Heath is a community cafe in the middle of Canford Heath. Cat (the owner) and her lovely staff are so welcoming and caring. I had lunch with my husband last Friday. We had a chicken bowl salad and a jacket potato with my favourite toppings mushrooms, cheese, and avocado with a salad and homemade coleslaw. There are lots of options for all dietary requirements. Read moreAt The Hub today we took a friend out for a cream tea. It was lovely. The food was fresh and delicious,with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. There were homemade scones which were light and very tasty ( and as one who has eaten a few cream teas this is not always the case)with plenty of cream and jam . The cakes as always were very good , and usually are , on every occasion we have been there . But we enjoy the inclusive atmosphere and the wonderful staff who find nothing too much trouble. Read moreI've been going to the hub since it was very newly opened and I thought to leave a review. This cafe is the most friendly, safe and welcoming place I think I've set foot in. The staff are so sweet and welcome in anyone no matter of age, disability, special needs or mental health. I know when I go in that I will always be met by a smile and it's become such a safe space for me to go to do work, hobbies or just for a social catch-up.
