I’m normally a big fan of Costa however the Way I was treated at the store today Forced me to change my opinion. As a regular to Costa Tower Park I’ve never been treated so disgustingly by one staff member in particular who claim to be the manager.
Normally on my visits to this customer I receive friendly welcome kind staff discounts for my drinks as I used to visit so often however I have now been put off
As after I finished a long shift delivery driving I decided to get a costa after driving round the car park once and failing to find a space I decided to join the queue for the drive-through as normal I had decided to pre-ordered my drink using the app thinking that it would save the hassle of ordering and paying for my drink as it’s normally fine and it’s not normally a problem and I wanted to order another drink anyway so I thought it just be easier to go through the drive-through not even knowing that you could go in the Costa anyway so after waiting in the queue for 20 minutes I finally reached the screen to place my order where I told her I wanted a latte and that I already had pre-ordered an order under the name of Alex they said okay and I continued to wait until I reach the window where at the window I was great By one of your employees who demanded I came into the store to collect my order even though I had already been waiting 25 minutes in the queue I asked why and she Said that’s not how the drive-through works however I’ve never had a problem doing it this way nor have I been told that I had to go in the store to collect and the app even said order to Costa Tower Park Drive through and ther is an Option to tick if you want it in store however she continued to Demand I had to come into the store to collect my order and that I was not even allowed to pay for the latte that I had ordered through the drive-through even though she said My drinks already ready I told her that she is being unreasonable and that normally I Order on the app and then drive-through and there is no problem so I then asked to see the manager she then claimed she was the manager which could not possibly be true by the way she spoke to myself She was not being reasonable and she was just being difficult and it is not the way to treat a paying customer I would understand if I’ve been told before that I had to collect in store but I haven’t so I told her that I’m going to wait here until I get my order as you’re being unreasonable and as it is already ready why can you not just bring it to the window there was no reason behind Her think so I turned off my engine and stop my Car she then started threatening to call the police But I don’t understand where she expected me to park my car anyway as there was no spaces in the car park so I continued to wait and then she started to fake calling the police literally she never even pressed any numbers on the keypad she just held her phone to her ear And just started talking to it I just let it carry on As I’ve never seen a Manager act in such a childish as she was being unrealistic and what she was saying made absolutely no sense at all finally I explain to her that she was wasting both my time and the customers behind myself however she kept continuing to be difficult finally she totally lost her temper went to get my coffees slammed them down on the tray and screamed at me that I was banned then to add to all she took my photo I’d honestly never been left feeling so humiliated in my life fair enough if she was stressed but she does not have to bring it out on the customers. This is so Called Manager need some desperate customer service training.
Just a warning don’t order your coffee on the app and then expect to receive it through the drive-through as a manager may call the police on you at least Starbucks let you order online and then pick up in the drive-through with no problem I know we’ll be going...
Read moreThe coffee tastes really bitter, not nice at all. On three occasions I’ve ordered a cappuccino and they have all tasted the same, really bitter and undrinkable. I’ve had plenty of other costa coffees and they certainly don’t taste extremely bitter. When I spoke to the manager, she was quite defensive and said it was fine and maybe I should add syrup or a sweetener! I don’t take sugar in coffee and shouldn’t need to add it. Unfortunately a really poor experience here. I don’t usually leave reviews but the price is expensive enough so I’d expect my coffee to be drinkable. Certainly will avoid this place in future. Staff were not very friendly and I asked quite politely and friendly for a replacement coffee which still tasted sour and bitter. Manager was very dismissive and not understanding. Read moreThis is the 3rd time I’ve had a BAD drink from this costa. I should’ve learnt the previous times!! Ordered a Belgian chocolate iced mocha a little while back and the cream was CLUMPY and clearly going bad. I actually went back today giving them the benefit of the doubt, only ordering iced teas ( something they surely can’t mess up lol ) there was no ice in our drinks? Like really? They didn’t even tell us they didn’t have any ice! I actually had to go to THE FOOD WAREHOUSE across from the shop and buy ice !!!! The iced tea flavouring tastes like sick. It’s really embarrassing as I am a former barista. The service and quality of the drinks are absolutely SHOCKING. I don’t know if it’s because people aren’t allowed into the actual shop that the service / quality is so poor as less people can complain through a drive thru.
Honestly just pay the extra money and go to Starbucks :///
