The Kent Arms — Restaurant in England

This is a nice traditional pub which can offer a cosy space for a relaxing drink. It’s not somewhere you’re likely to causally discover but if you’re in the area its worth swinging by. There’s a small bar area at the front plus a larger section to the rear, along with a good outdoor space. There’s a lot of history framed on the wall which is good to admire and appreciate plus the member of bar staff was friendly and welcoming.

There’s a good number of screens around if you want to keep up with the sport, a pool table and a big collection of books. What’s best though are the prices - certainly one of the cheapest bars in the town I know! It might feel it’s in a need of a refurb, but that goes with the history of the place and it wins with every other aspect; well...

Reasonably priced beers, a friendly atmosphere, sports TV and a covered smoking garden.

Every time I have been here over the last may be 20 years, this Pub still has the same characteristics and is still as friendly as it has ever...
