Just wanted to say a huge Thank you to the wonderful Staff Member who served me earlier today. I had a query regarding Aniseed Balls, and their, once existing, internal Pips. Are they still present? We didn't Know for sure. She kindly gave me one to try. Didn't have the Tooth strength to demolish it, on site, In order to find out, so continued to suck it as I ventured home. I was very excited to buy sweets from this shop as I love old-fashioned sweets. The woman working there was friendly, but while there another customer picked up a box of sweets from the shelf which turned out to be out of date, the shopkeeper tried to sell them anyway.
