The Kings Arms — Restaurant in England

we went in and had to wait 10 minutes for our table even though we had booked. i ordered baked mushrooms for my starter and there was still mud on almost all of them, i had a lemonade and it wasn’t fizzy and had zero lemons flavour because it was plain water that tasted like chlorine. me and my dad got a dirty burger and he had no mayo in it and barely any bacon compared to me. the chips on the side of my burger were uncooked and soggy. then i asked for a trio cheesecake and they said they only had caramel and had run out of the other flavours that were supposed to be in it, although 15 minutes later i saw someone get given a trio cheesecake with all the flavours, my brownie had ice cream on the side and i was given it completely already melted and covered all over the brownie. the plates that were on the table when we arrived were dirty, covered in food and ketchup. We also had to wait 20 minutes for the waiters to ask us what we wanted for dessert to the point where we had to go to the bar and ask. A one...

The Kings Arms is a fantastic pub - lots of character, great Guinness (with a Shamrock on top!), reasonable prices, good food, regular live music and a friendly feel. I recently hosted an event there and found the venue and catering absolutely perfect. The outdoor area and parking at the rear , given the pub’s location in the middle of town, were a real bonus also. Sean, the Landlord, was extremely helpful throughout and the service we received, and his care and attention to ensure everything went smoothly at a difficult time (it was a Wake), were second to none. He is very experienced at what he does and once I explained what I wanted I felt I could then forget about it and focus on the other things I had to do with 100% confidence that I wouldn’t be let down. I couldn’t recommend the Kings Arms enough, first and foremost as a pub, but also as a venue for your catered events and gatherings. Many thanks again Sean and...

Have just moved to bedford and myself and daughter went out on thursday night to try out some of the pubs...this was the first one we came by on our way into town...no other pub got the pleasure of our company as we accidently stayed until closing.!!!. 😂.. all I can say is I wish I'd have found this pub year's ago!!..we had such a lovely evening nd will be returning very soon!!! .the landlord ...and the barmaid on were both lovely and we were made welcome by the locals...just a lovely pub in...
