The Oddbottle — Restaurant in England

We have been in Oddbottle many times over the years as we have family members who's local this is. We have been overlooked at the bar in busy times by one certain barmaid who insists on serving regulars over us even though we were clearly there first. We also as a party of 10 went in for a drink as we were going across the road for a meal. My grandson was with us, he was 16 dressed smartly and with all his family. Its without a doubt, always a pleasure in oddbottle, weather I'm working doing the DJing or out for a drink as a paying customer! The bar staff are ten to none! They serve in a respectable time frame and even at peak times when its busy, they dont slack off! :D They're nothing but extremely polite and professional! you feel welcome being there! They do there jobs very well!

The food in this pub has always been hit & miss but the last 3 times we've been it has definitely been a miss. Today's food was prepared badly and served by staff who quite frankly couldn't care less about what they were serving. Take my advice stay clear of their chicken dinner. Powdered potato underneath breaded chicken with hard dry stuffing swimming in watery gravy. Tasteless and bland. We're fans of sizzling pubs but not this one anymore I'm afraid.
