A bakery treasure! Only open during Apr-Oct season, and on limited days/times, but well worth a visit if you can make it. An ever changing selection of small batch baked goods and delicious breakfast options, to eat in or takeaway. As well as takeaway sourdough pizza on Monday evenings (good to order in advance to get your pickup spot!).

Love this halfway café stop on the iwalkcornwall circular route from Mount Edgcumbe to Cawsand and back. Highly recommend the sourdough french toast with bacon and maple syrup and the delightfully naughty hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows 😋

We only live twenty minutes away but decided to stay in Cawsand for the night and enjoy a long dinner at the Devonport Inn. |Arrived at the Old Bakery at about 4pm and shown to our twin room which was quickly converted to a king size by the owner, by virtue of a very comfortable mattress topper. (Don’t let the fact that it’s advertised as a twin put you off if you were looking for a double)|Our room looked out over Garrett St with a distant sea view. A lovely room which was very clean and contained everything we needed. |Love the concept of staying above the Bakery. Much better than a normal B&B. We had a full English and a vege breakfast. Both very nice. |A really great place to have a breakfast on a sunny morning. The outside seating catches the morning sun just right as you overlook the quaint narrow street. |Highly...

Booked two rooms for my partner& I & my 90yr old mother. They were aware that we were arriving on Thursday 8th October in the afternoon. When we arrived they were not in and the place was locked up. We were told by neighbours that it was their day off but we were not made aware of this. We waited around the village and phoned them continuously but got no reply. Luckily it was not raining!! After about 2 hrs, now about 5pm a very nice neighbour called Andy offered to take us into his home for a cup of tea and to wait until the owners of the old bakery had decided to come home!! We thanked him very much but declined. We then drove to another village and, luckily found two rooms above a pub which were very nice. We feel really let down and annoyed, especially having my 90yr old...
