Visited this evening for the first time with friends. The restaurant itself presented as clean, welcoming and popular with the locals. Along with the usual bollywood music playing in the background this was on a low volume so the atmosphere was relaxed. However for us unfortunately the food did disappoint. We opted for the sheekh kebab which was on the salty side and the chilli paneer which as described was spicy but should be renamed to extra hot chilli paneer 🔥🔥 I'm guessing the rest of the menu might be worth trying if I go by the reviews I have read so won't cross off my list just yet.

Used to go here for Christmas Dinner years ago so popped in on a wet Thursday night to see what its like now. I wasn't disappointed, the food was beautifully cooked and full off flavour. Nice friendly service just how It used to be

Absolutely phenomenal the food the waiter who served me had given me a cold soup and I informed him of this and he was very sorry and to compensate for it he donated his left kidney to me and a litre of his blood.

The food however was exquisite the chicken korma was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth my friend with me at the time who was dining with me also ordered the chicken korma and he had a seizure when it entered his mouth that was how good it was .

The poppadoms where fantabulous they where the right amount of crispy and not at all burnt paired with the mango chutney they made for a formidable duo this time sending my friend into yet another seizure .

I got 4 naans the cheesy one was good the keema one was also good however the plain and garlic naans where so good that my friend got up and kissed the waiter directly on the lips. The naans where so good fluffy like a cloud and tasted like a michelin star dish.

And now back onto the waiters they where the politest bunch of chaps I had ever met and seemed absolutely willing to serve us food without asking any questions.

I had the diet coke from there and when I tell you it was the best Diet Coke I ever had I am not even joking. It had the perfect amount of ice a lovely straw to drink it with and the lemon added so many flavours and took this drink to new levels send my friend into a state of no return.

However my friend did return to eat pilaa rice and it was as the Spanish say 'muy rico' the rice was so soft and fluffy then I had the best idea known to mankind I mixed the korma with the rice and it was absolutely astonishing sending my friend into yes you guessed it another seizure this time taking him up the stairs and to the door of the bathroom.

After we had finished we were given hot towels to clean our hands and they where the softest things I had ever laid hands on. My friend had just come down and saw me having a seizure he took a towel and also had a seizure we seizured for 5 minutes straight without stopping, by the time we pulled our selves together we had bruises all over us but it was worth.

When we received our bill we where given the most indulgent chocolates ever and sent us into another 5 minute seizure.

Altogether would not recommend,McDonald's is a lot cheaper not better but cheaper so just go there. Just joking would recommend but beware as you are most likely...

Avoid at all costs.

We ordered a takeaway to celebrate our daughters birthday, having eaten in the restaurant many times over the years. Sadly the food was very poor and was floating in grease. Having eaten several items that were edible, the rest was thrown in a plastic bag. Having then called the restaurant to speak with the manager and let him know (very politely) that the three dishes main dishes were very poor and were not eaten, the manager sadly didn't nave the courtesy to say sorry or show any form of customer care. I suggested that they collect the food that was not eaten and very respectfully suggested that the manager do whatever he thinks is the best thing to do to remedy this. They sent a driver to collect the discarded food (which was still in it packaging) and tied up in two plastic bags. Unbelievably the manager called me and was rude, sarcastic and immature. He began to call me a liar by claiming that we had eaten some of the returned food. He then reluctantly said he would refund some of the money, however based on his appaulling, immature and aggressive attitude, I refused any money back from him. It is clear this guy has a complex issue and doesn't like criticism and his approach to any such criticism is to gaslight his customers by saying we are lying or are trying to grab a freebie. Check their historic reviews which are similar.

All I wanted was a simple apology. Such a shame given the money we have spent in this place over the years but glad to have seen the real attitude of this business / manager before we spent any more...

We have always loved this place and have recommended it to so many friends and family who are now regular customers; but after today, our opinion has definitely changed. We came back from holiday this morning and the first thing we did was book a table for this evening and we were really looking forward to it... The first issue was the volume of the music. There had always been a calm feeling in the restaurant in the years prior, but this seems to have gone. We also noticed a huge increase to the prices (but I know this is commonplace now) The main thing which was disappointing was the service we received. Nobody seemed to really know what was going on; staff were wandering around aimlessly and there was one particular man who was rushing us constantly. He took our order so abruptly and we felt so rushed the entire time. Even the lady on the table next to us commented on how bossy he was when he took her table"s order. When we made payment, his hand was literally hovering over the card machine as my partner entered his pin and then said "Cash tip is better". We were not impressed with the experience...
