The Royal Oak Ruscombe — Restaurant in England

We had a lovely family celebration here last Sunday lunchtime. There we eight of us ranging from us in our seventies to a one year old. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and varied - something to suit all tastes, beautifully cooked and served hot and all at the same time which is quite a feat when we had all chosen different dishes. Good food at a reasonable price. Friendly service. Good atmosphere. Clean toilets though a little cold. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is I think there was mustard in the gravey which was mentioned as my lips reacted after the meal. Specifically asked for normal mash and not mustard mash for this reason which I got but my lips still reacted. This is a minor thing and if there wasn't any mustard in the gravey I apologise. Went to check the antique shop of this pub The guy behind the bar took me outside to The outhouse come shed and said it's abit Messy, opened the door and the first thing you See is a floor mop & bucket, there are a few shelves But it looks like it's all the leftovers from this lady's Shop in Henley, and not good stuff either.
