9th October 2024. I have exceeded my character’s and won’t let me post anything more. Wandering Wednesday today was simply AMAZING….xxx❤️
6th May 2024 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I back to The White Hart, they change their menu’s quite often and it would be very rude not to try out their new cuisine creations! They never fail to please….. We didn’t have starters as the dishes are huge and would of been far too much food!….. Entrées: Neil had bone in Pork Tomahawk marinated and grilled with chorizo and garlic sauce…. Served with loaded fries, skin on fries with magic dust, gooey cheese, bacon bites, house sauce with takeaway toppings. I had a burger….. double stack beef and cheese, ketchup and Manc sauce with a glazed short rib, topped with massive onion ring and ranch slaw….. Upgraded my fries to skin on fries, dusted with chip salt with southern fried chicken, cheese sauce, loads of chorizo, marinara sauce, Parmesan and garlic butter….. Neil had a pot of tea and I had a coke. We’ve been back to this pub a good few times now and each new menu has drawn us in each time, the food is sooooo beautiful, piping hot…..and plenty of it, proper belly busters…. We will continue to return as the food is simply perfect…
15th May 2024: ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I back a place we’ve been many times previously, they change their menus frequently, hence our returns to…… ‘The White Hart’….. this place never ceases to fail us…. Every time we’ve been the food has been absolutely ‘Spot On’ as my Father in law Arthur, would of said….bless him xx❤️ For starters we both had the same: Flour tortillas, battered cod goujons, tartare sauce, pea purée, shredded lettuce, potato strings and veg, drizzled with a curry sauce dressing….. They were huge and soooo tasty. Entrées: Neil had kangaroo and jalapeño burger with all the trimmings, salad, beef tomato, crisps bacon, spicy sausage and bacon ranch dressing, then topped off with a massive shrimp cooked on the barbie, with added fries on the side….. I had a smashed burger and when it arrived it was ‘double pattie’ with thick fried chicken tenders dipped in honey butter and wing sauce, crispy bacon rashers with gherkins and ranch dressing…… I upgraded my fries to loaded fries, which came with red salt, melted cheese poured over strips of tender steak slices, accompanied with fried onions, peppers, ballpark mustard gherkins, spiced mayo and all sprinkled with Cajun dust….. My eyes popped out of my head when it came, it looked amazing and all the flavours were something else….. Staff are attentive and very polite as always…… Will we return?….. Over and over! Without no doubt at all….xxx❤️
24th July 2024. ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Rhi, Max, Neil and I to the best burger restaurant in our eyes….. Back to the White Hart. Best burgers ever!! We were celebrating Rhi’s final exam of 7 years Solicitor training and it’s also her birthday tomorrow too….. Happy birthday Our Gorgeous girl xxx Rhi had Seoul destroyer, Max had a WFC burger, Neil and I both had Honey Monster. These burgers are so filling and bursting with flavours. I took screenshots of the burgers contents as it would take ages to write down!! Finishing off back at Max and Rhi house, with a Marks and Spencer’s ‘Connie the caterpillar’...

With it being my final day as a Warrington resident I had to go to the White Hart for my last meal. It's provided many superb experiences over the years. This one was no different. Delightful staff, cosy environment and excellent quality food.
I'm really glad they brought back Sunday lunches because me and my parents thoroughly enjoyed it a couple of years back. We all had different meats this time and they were all lovely.
It was my go-to place for 6 years and it's one of the things I'll miss most about Warrington. I'm sure I will return when I visit the area in the future though. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Previous visit: I highly recommend the Sunday roast. Really good quality for a reasonable price. The staff were brilliant too!
Another previous visit: Outstanding Christmas special burger!
I'm struggling to remember a more enjoyable festive burger I've ingested or even any burger even.
The 'Elf is Priestly' had two mouthwatering thick beef patties which were cooked perfectly. Two delightfully crisp and juicy turkey strips and tasty bacon rashers. The sauces added in were incredible, particularly the bacon cranberry sauce which spilled out the bun. A truly superb messy meat stack!
The beef dripping chips are a must have at the White Hart. Huge greasy chips with a nice crispy skin.
I also had the Chinese chicken bites. Again, these were moist in the middle with a lively crisp batter. Perfectly accompanied by a sticky and sweet plum sauce. I enjoyed every single mouthful of the feast.
I've always had a fantastic meal at the White Hart and the staff are always a delight.
Certainly one of the best places for food and drink in Warrington!
Another visit: And another sensational meal!
This place never disappoints. Both with its food and the service from the staff. Everytime they update their menu it includes an incredible burger.
On this occasion I had the '3 Little Pigs' and it was a beautiful stack. They weren't "smash" patties they were thick ones but they tasted lovely and had a great charred flavour too. The bacon chop burnt ends had a similar char flavour too and were beautifully smokey too. I enjoyed every messy jawbreaking bite!
It was however missing the BBQ style pickles and had onion rings rather than shoestring onions. Both of which (particularly pickles) would have elevated the burger even further. I wasn't thinking about this while I was stuffing it down though!
Further satisfying mess came from the 'Badda Bing' starter I had on the side. Hefty chicken tenders coated in marinara and cheese with plenty of pepperoni slices as well. The tenders were perfectly crisp.
Overall a fantastic load of scran that left me full and extremely satisfied. Really can't recommend the White Hart...
Read moreOur starters took 45 mins to arive when we were the only people there to eat at the time. After our starters we waited another 30 mins for a pasta dish and 2 steaks to arrive.(maybe 3 tables eating now posibaly 10 people total) My steak was ordered blue and was medium well when it arived and the sauce on the pasta was split. I sent back my steak and my girlfriend just didnt wish to eat any more of the food. My replacment steak arrived and the watress informed me the last one was "medium not medium well" i asked what the relevence was as i had ordered it rare/blue to which i got "u said it was medium well i spoke to the chef. that was medium" i then had a new steak put in front of me with raw uncooked chips the steak was grey where it had been cooked in a cold pan and had absolutly no seasoning at all. Not so much as a grane of salt curiously it appeared to have not been cooked on a griddle like the last one. But i couldnt be bothered to argue i ate the steak with the awfull plastic tasting pepercorn sauce and left the rest. We then ordered desert as they all appeared to be frozen brake brothers deserts and how can you mess that up after all. Well turns out you can make people wait half an hour for 2 slices of cheeskake and a microwaved pudding we only got them at this point as i complained to the rude standoffish bar manageress. We then disputed the bill and took another 20 mins of arguing just to get the things we had not eaten taken off the menu no appologies for the service or the mistakes and the manager made it very clear she did not care about our complaints in any way we will definatly not be...
