Tide & Thyme — Restaurant in England

We popped in on the off chance to book a table that evening ... we were told we could have one in the next 10 minutes ... great we thought. We had a stroll then got there 10 mins later only to be told that the food we had ordered and paid for when booking the table ... needed to be eaten in 15 mins as the table we booked was needed 15 minutes later and we could take it upstairs to ... i dont know where .... Seemed that they took the money and gave details later ..... not massively impressed .... misleading to well meaning tourists. Poor service ... nice pizza we ate on the beach but daylight robbery...

We had some amazing pizzas last night, they were booked online for takeaway at 5:40 so we turned up thinking we might have to wait a bit but no they literally came out the oven as we turned up . We had a selection from the menu including one which had a whole burrata Mozzarella on top which my wife thoroughly enjoyed, I had the Nduja sausage which was also amazing and my kids had a margarita, and a pepperoni which they both loved . We all enjoyed them so much we all went to the shop to buy them all some beers which I really hope they enjoyed after service . Thanks again guys and we will be...

Lovely coffee, good service and friendly staff, but a little behind the times charging 50p extra for oat milk. Local cafes don't charge extra for oat milk in say St.Mawes or Charleston as they realise as a long life milk there is less waste and the price to the business is no more than cows milk. All businesses need to make a profit, but shouldn't at the expense of those of us that cannot...
