Went with my group of friends for dinner, one of them not a fan of spice foods but you know just enjoyed to have a group get together. Our Plain Jane friend decided to order the sirloin steak with chips while we all ordered Indian food.
Customer service was so shocking, super rude, especially towards our friend who ordered the sirloin steak. Made a judgement and said “you want a steak at an Indian restaurant?” Lucky she just let that slide. Even when poppadoms came out our friend who ordered the steak was told how she should eat her popadoms. Food came out, we started eating, and the waiter that made a pass at our friend about ordering the steak, comes back and asks her “is everything alright with the food? Because people don’t usually order the sirloin it’s usually there for __ (didn’t quite catch what he said) people”. He came off so rude towards her making a huge fuss at the fact she had ordered a steak? Why put this on your menu if your just going to harass customers about why they are ordering steak instead of Indian food.
Really made our group annoyed as all we tried to do was have a nice group dine...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at Vojion Indian in Brough was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere promised a great evening ahead. We decided to start with the pickle tray, which was an explosion of flavors, perfectly setting the stage for what was to come. I opted for the classic chicken korma, which was cooked to perfection, offering a symphony of flavors that were both comforting and luxurious. My partner chose the king prawn masala, which was equally impressive, with succulent prawns and a rich, flavorful sauce that was to die for. We accompanied our meals with sweet pashwari bread, which was the perfect balance of sweetness and softness, complementing our dishes wonderfully. The meal as a whole was gorgeous, leaving us satisfied and already planning our next visit. The convenience of Vojion Indian being just a walk away from where we live is an added bonus, making it a great place to eat and enjoy a lovely evening out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful Indian...

I don’t go in very often, but when I do, I always get a really warm welcome and they remember me for some reason, possibly because I’m a bit cheeky. I really shouldn’t have had a starter but I did. I had King prawn purée… Wow! There was so much food or maybe I was too greedy, but I ended up bringing a doggie back home which was not a problem at all. The food was so tasty , good choice , great service, would...
